5.  A new window will appear. Choose a privacy setting. From top to bottom, the privacy settings are “Most private” to “Least private”. A description of the settings are as follows:

(See Figure 3)

a.  NCCI will not see any information on actions you take.

b.  Default setting. NCCI will only see that “someone” took an action. Your name, the “action item”, and whether the you supported or opposed the “action item” are not shared with NCCI.

c.   NCCI will see your name when you sign-up for TAN. Your name may be shared with NCCI when you take an action. The actual “action item” and whether you supported or opposed the “action item” are not shared with NCCI.

(Note – I believe this privacy setting is LESS restrictive than setting “d”.)

d.  NCCI will see your name when you sign-up for TAN.

(Note – I believe this privacy setting is MORE restrictive than setting “c”)

e.  NCCI will see your name when you sign-up for TAN. Your email may be shared with NCCI for NCCI generated “action items” you take, and for NCCI generated events you sign up for in TAN.

(Note – Not recommended at the moment. Currently there are no NCCI generated “action items” or events within TAN. This may change and we may suggest changing your privacy setting in the future.)

f.        Same privacy as in “e”, but your phone number may be shared with NCCI if you have entered that information in your profile.

(Note – NOT recommended. NCCI should have no reason to contact you via your phone number due to actions you take in TAN.)
